Almost nothing. There's no signup form, no account to create, and no advertising on this site. The only measurement is a page-speed and visit count from my web host, described below. I'd rather explain the small amount that does happen than hand you a page of legal boilerplate.
This site sets no cookies of its own. It runs no advertising, and I have added no analytics or tracking code of my own. Nothing on the page loads from an advertiser or a data broker. I don't sell, rent, or share information about you, and there is nobody to share it with.
There's no tracking pixel here because I never added one. If that changes, this page changes first.
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles the basic information your browser sends when it asks for a page: your IP address, the time, and which browser you're using. It uses this to deliver the page and to block attacks. I can see how many visits a page got, but not who you are.
Cloudflare also adds a small measurement script to each page as it serves it. It reports back to Cloudflare how quickly the page loaded in your browser, which page it was, the country you loaded it from, and the type of device. It doesn't set a cookie and it doesn't follow you to other sites. I use it to see how many people visit and whether the page is slow for them.
Cloudflare may set a security cookie if it needs to check that a request isn't automated. That's theirs, not mine, and it's covered by their privacy policy.
Links to YouTube take you to YouTube, and once you're there you're on their terms and their privacy policy, not mine. That's true of any link here that points somewhere else.
My email runs on Google Workspace, so a message you send me is stored in my mailbox the way any email is. I'll use it to reply to you and nothing else. I won't add you to any list because you wrote to me.
Please don't send me details about your own health that you'd want kept private. Email isn't a secure channel, I'm not your doctor, and writing to me doesn't create a physician–patient relationship. If it's about your care, your own doctor is the right person.
This site is written for adults making decisions about their own health or a family member's. It isn't directed at children, and I don't knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13.
You can email and ask what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Given how little there is, the answer is usually short. Depending on where you live you may have formal rights along these lines, and I'll honour them either way rather than making you find out whether they apply.
I'll update the date at the top. If a change actually matters, meaning I start collecting something I don't collect today, I'll say so plainly rather than quietly editing a paragraph.
